Welcome to Evolve personal training, Ormskirk’s only private personal training facility. Our ever growing studios offer 1-2-1 or small group personal training in a fully private setting. Every session that is taken in the studio is just the trainer and the client.
Since opening we have had great success with 100s of people training in our studio. As the number of people wanting to book in has grown, we have also grown with it. We now have 6 personal trainers, both male and female, and 5 private studios!
Unlike most gyms you don’t need a membership to train in the studios, you dont have to sign any contracts and there’s no joining fees. You just pay for the training sessions you book in.

Strength & Conditioning
We provide tailored training to help you reach your goals, whether it’s improving your fitness, preparing for competition or fat loss. A combination of weight lifting, cardio and functional fitness is provided by our trainers. As well as having the full attention of your coach, if you have a particular focus, the benefit of personal training is that your sessions are fully personalised.

If you really want the results you desire you have to make sure your nutrition is in check. Sometimes the smallest error in your diet can hinder your overall results. As your body changes your diet needs to change!

My husband and I have been using Evolve personal trainers once or twice a week for the last three years. We’ve used all of the different trainers and enjoy the different ways they train. They are all really professional, motivational and very friendly. We enjoy the 1:1 or 1:2 sessions as it means the trainers can ensure we don’t injure ourselves (important once you’re mid to late 50’s!). The sessions are tailored to individual needs. Dan is the owner of Evolve Personal Training. Opening the studios in June 2016, he is a full time personal trainer and director of the gym. Dan has a wealth of experience, working in gyms since the age of 18. Dan covers all areas of fitness, training clients from beginners to pro athletes. He has a keen interest in Olympic lifting and strength training which he loves introducing to his clients.
Chris was brought to the studio by Dan in September 2016 intially on a part time basis but after his growing popularity this quickly became a full time role. Chris is an advocate of intense training. He likes to get the best out of you every session pushing you as much as he can. He will have you achieving things in the gym you never thought you could do. Our clients love training with Chris. If you want to leave the gym feeling like you have had a hard but enjoyble workout then Chris is your man.
Lauren had been a trainer at the studios since April 2017. She is a very popular trainer in the Ormskirk area having ran busy bootcamps for a number of years. She holds a number of qualifications including advanced bootcamp instructor, insanity instructor, boxercise and kettlebell instructor. Lauren is also a competitive runner having competed locally and nationally.
Jodie joined the team in May 2018, She is a well known trainer around Ormskirk having trained clients in a popular gym in the area for the last 6 years. Jodie is an all rounder in the gym. She specialises in weight training but also loves to put her clients through circuits. If you think you would like a session with Jodie you can book in with her online via our online booking system.
Nicola joined the studio as an instructor in January 2018. Nic is a level 2 gym instructor and level 3 personal trainer. Nic loves to get her clients lifting weights and circuit training. She is also a competitive runner.
Dan, a competitive triathlete and runner by trade, joined the team in 2020 and is a well known trainer around the North West having worked with clients in the local area for the past 8 years. A former PFA strength and conditioning coach, Dan brings a wide ranging experience level with a focus of compound movements and small focus circuits to maximise your training time. Having also worked in the nutrition industry, Dan (who has been vegan for the last 3 years) has some great advice, recipes and occasional healthy treats for those looking for more insight into their diet. Rach is one of our newest recruits to the team. Rach is a performer and whilst performing all over the world, she also found a passion for fitness and teaching fitness which developed into training various styles & clients in different gyms in the area. Rach believes fitness is for everyone but should be fun! She will push you and make sure you get a good workout, using a mix of bodyweight exercises, cardio and plyo movements as well as your good old basic weight training. She likes to use the step, stability ball, TRX straps, sliders and the rest. So no matter your age or ability, book in with Rach and you might just surprise yourself.

Sports therapy boasts a wide range of benefits, optimising both performance and recovery.
All appointments are 50 minutes in duration and at a cost of £20.

Patients are required to bring their own towels where possible, and come appropriately dressed (e.g. shorts and sports bra where applicable). It is also required that clients arrive at least 5 minutes prior to their appointment and wait patently to be called in.
